There is an old adage that a poet in another country is
sublime; but a poet in the next room is a joke.
Having this knowledge, for many years I have felt that we
Canadians, have enough truly wonderful songs about Texas and Tennessee and not
enough about life in our own area.
About 13 years ago I had the glimmer of an idea that I could
perhaps in some small way begin to change that...
So I wrote a few songs about Saskatchewan and Canada.....
